With over 15 years' experience in autism specific education, specialising in high support needs, ranging from the Early Years Foundation Stage up to Key Stage 4, I have a wealth of experience with all ages.

I have been a senior leader for over five years, including whole school leadership on the National Autistic Society's Autism Accreditation where we confidently secured the highest national standard.

I have extensive experience in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, structured teaching, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), relationship regulation (behaviour support) and reflective practice.

I hold many awards, including but not limited to; Attention Autism, Blank Levels, Intensive Interaction, Makaton, Signalong, TacPac, Sherborne Developmental Movement and TEACCH.

I continue to develop myself professionally and remain up to date with the most current research and literature in the field of autism.

I am qualified to administer and code the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), following NICE guidelines. This forms part of the multi-professional process in diagnosing autism and is considered 'Gold Standard'.
