"The forest is beautiful because every tree is different, yet each is part of the whole."

After 15 years of teaching and leadership in special education, specialising in autism (high support needs), I now offer bespoke packages of support to families, care settings and schools.

This offer of professional support is tailored to each individual according to their needs and is personalised throughout. As Stephen Shore explained;

"if you've met one person with autism, you've met one person with autism."

Recognising the differences in each autistic individual is very important to me. I believe in a strengths-based approach that celebrates different minds, true inclusion is about understanding.

My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity and connection. I aim to create spaces where individuals feel understood, valued and supported to thrive.

"We learn not when we are forced to conform, but when we are understood."

What is Autism?

Autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental difference. Autistic people experience differences in the following three areas;

  • Social Understanding and Communication

  • Sensory Processing and Integration

  • Flexible Thinking, Information Processing and Understanding

(Autism Education Trust, 2025)

Autism impacts how a person experiences the world, it is a permanent neurodevelopmental difference and presents differently in each individual.
